"only 2 friends" ? I think it's the quality of the LJ friends you have rather than the quantity LJ people.

p.s. I am extra excited to see Craig's show tonight.

p.p.s. I had a blogger blog and I'm gonna see if I wrote about Darren on there. I'm gonna try to compare my experiences.

LMAO. Uh, I just looked at your profile. One of those friends is you, isn't it?

Yes, to quality over quantity. I'm probably better than thousands of people you can find here on LJ. I'm an egotist, what else can I say? Then again, so are you for friending yourself, LOL.

From ONTD community
Hi, I didn't want to be rude and not respond but ONTD isn't allowing me to comment. I know they rejected my request to become a member but I was still able to post so I don't know what is going on? Anyways..here is what I was going to say:
There isn't a definite link, a lot of postulations, though. What they think may happen is if a person has a genetic link (which we know Michael had, even if it was a distant relative) and it may be dormant. Depression/anxiety can cause the chemical changes to cause the disease to no longer be dormant. I guess the easiest way to think of it is when you get a sore on your lip (herpes simplex 1 (I think)). Everyone has that strain dormant in them but when you're under high levels of stress, which can happen when you're sick, this ugly thing appears on your lip. A lot of weird things happen to the body when under mental distress. We've actually found pictures of the brain where people's brains have loss mass after being diagnosed with a psychological disorder.
But the skin color changes can definitely cause the depression because it's so disfiguring -- people stare, they don't understand, there isn't a lot of information about the disease, etc...Plus it affects personal identity. If you identify with a particular ethnic group and your skin color is what really identifies you, when that's gone you can feel you no longer identify, especially if the group shuns you.

Hope that info helps :)

Re: From ONTD community
I don't think I was banned because I haven't really said anything that would get me banned. I requested earlier in the week to become a member and it was declined and just now I was declined again..My journal is old and I stopped using it 6 years ago but resurrected it to post on ONTD, but it's not completely empty and I think I meet most of the requirements. So I'm not quite sure what to do :-/
